Viral Infection Disease Decontamination Package
This seven-step program is designed to help prevent the spread of viruses and diseases.
1. Incident Site Risk Assessment
It starts with a phone call. When we are asked to clean, sanitize, and disinfect a space, we need to gather as much information as we can prior to going to the site. This helps us clarify your needs and define the scope of work. The incident site risk assessment helps us determine:
- What equipment do we need?
- What cleaning and disinfection solutions will we need? How much?
- Will our team members require personal protective equipment?
- Once on site, we will need to establish the clear zone, the transition zone and the operating zone. This is very important for infection/contamination control.
When and where applicable, we will perform a pre-Bio Test to determine what we can do to help. In some situations, we may use an ATP meter to determine the initial state of cleanliness.
If the situation calls for it – for example, if there is a lot of contamination and load reduction will be completed, we will complete a pre-disinfection step where we will spray a disinfectant. This knocks down the viral or bacterial contamination prior to entering the site. We use CDC approved and EPA registered industrial-strength disinfectants with a broad spectrum kill claim.
4. Load Reduction
Load reduction is an effective means to remove and dispose of gross biocontamination. Load reduction is needed when a biological contamination is present. All infected materials are cleaned, disinfected and properly disposed of as biohazard waste.
5. Detailed Forensic Cleaning
This is a deep clean of every surface in your premises. We use a two-step process:
- First, we use linear overlapping strokes to clean horizontal and vertical surfaces by hand, with no circular motions and no scrubbing. This is done with a dry microfiber towel, which is then disposed of to prevent viruses and diseases from transmitting.
- We then repeat the process with a detergent cleaning solution.
6. Complete a Post-Bio Test
A post-Bio Test validates the cleaning, sanitization and disinfection process. We will use an ATP meter and compare the results to the pre-Bio Test to verify the level of cleanliness.
7. Post Disinfection: An Extremely Important Step!
Once your business is cleaned and disinfected, we will spray a disinfectant on all predetermined surfaces – paying close attention to touch points – using a sprayer, fogger or electrostatic sprayer. This ensures your workspace is safe for employees and the public.
Deep Cleaning and Disinfection Package
This package is for businesses that don’t need a viral decontamination, but still want a deep clean of their facility. It can also benefit businesses who cannot close their doors, because we can arrange to have a professional disinfection technician on-site during operational hours.
Deep cleaning and sanitizing are essential to break the chain of COVID-19 illnesses. The surfaces most likely to be touched, commonly referred to as “touch points”, must be cleaned regularly as this is where viral contaminants often exist. It’s imperative to regularly remove surface contaminants, such as soil and grime, from both touch points and secondary surfaces.
This package will give your customers and your staff peace of mind, because they’ll know that the disinfectant specialist will properly clean and disinfect touchpoints at regular intervals.
Sani Station Installation
We are also offering stand-alone hand sanitizer stations and refillable sani-wipe containers, with the option to choose from a variety of disinfectant chemicals that are all hospital-grade and EPA approved. JANCO will monitor these stations and ensure to refill as needed.
We look forward to working with you to make sure your workspace is ready for business.
